Sherfield Cycling Club Saturday 15th May – Ride Out
Following a very successful and well attended inaugural meet of the Sherfield Cycling Club, this coming weekend, on Saturday, 15th May 2021 the Sherfield Cycling Club will once again be meeting outside Buckfield ready to start at 10am.
We split into groups to take account of ability/speed and distance to be covered. Following feedback from last week, we have shortened the Fun/Children’s ride slightly. This group cover younger children but as the routes will be on the road, your child must be confident in riding on the road and be supervised by a parent/guardian. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Cycle helmets must be worn.
By way of expectation, it is envisaged that the groups will cover roughly:
Advanced – 25-30 miles Intermediate – 15-20 miles Fun/Children – 7-10 miles
Routes will be available to view in advance on the FOS website –www.friendsofsherfield.org.
The intention is that all groups will arrive back at the school at roughly the same time where refreshments will be made available by donation (funds will go to the Friends of Sherfield charity fundraising initiatives).
Once again we will also have a basic maintenance service available for any of you with squeaks or rattles, provided again by donation (any parts at cost).
To get an idea of numbers for the first few weeks, please email@example.com to express interest or if you have any questions.
To for any other updates, please also keep an eye on the Friends of Sherfield Facebook page.
We look forward to seeing you this coming Saturday.
